What NOT to Wear (and Why!)

You know just before my grooming stage I really had a bad fashion sense but now it's good I won't say best.

This industry is huge and let me tell you it is diverse too...

So let me share a few tips that will help you guys and help me too

Fit is Everything!

The number one rule that often gets ignored?

Fit is key!

Clothes that are too tight will be uncomfortable and unflattering

while baggy items can drown your figure. Invest some time in finding clothes that hug your curves in all the right places.

A well-fitting outfit instantly elevates your look and boosts your confidence.

Unflattering Fabrics

Certain fabrics simply don't do everyone justice.

Sheer or clingy materials on areas you'd rather downplay can be unflattering.

Similarly, stiff or bulky fabrics can add unnecessary volume.

Knowing your body type and choosing fabrics that complement it is crucial for creating a polished look.  Learn more about dressing for your body type at The Everygirl:

Trend Traps

Trends are fun, but blindly following every fad can lead to disaster

Ask yourself:  Does this trend suit my style?  Will I feel comfortable and confident wearing it?

A trend that looks amazing on a celebrity might not translate well to your everyday life.

Focus on building a wardrobe of timeless pieces you love, and accessorize with on-trend elements to keep things fresh.

I have made a blog on it check it out

Clashing Colors and Patterns

Mixing colors and patterns can be a great way to express your personality.

However, there's a fine line between stylish and chaotic.  If you're unsure, start with a neutral base and add pops of color or pattern with accessories.

Learning about color theory can also help you create harmonious and eye-catching combinations. A great resource for color theory basics is Canva:

Forgetting the Occasion:

There's a time and place for everything, even your favorite ripped jeans (lol).

Consider the dress code of the event you're attending.  Showing up to a job interview in a beach cover-up (no matter how cute!) won't leave the best impression.  Dressing appropriately shows respect for the occasion and makes you feel more confident.

Conclusion:

Fashion is a journey of self-discovery.  By avoiding these common pitfalls, you can cultivate a wardrobe that reflects your unique style and makes you feel fantastic.
